Urth Caffe is one of my favorite and most frequently visited restaurants in LA. I tend to frequent the Downtown location because it is so close to USC. Their food is consistently good and the menu has a wide array of choices for everyone. Urth has a very casual vibe as you order first and then find seating after. Being a café Urth has many different choices for the coffee and tea lover, as well as a variety of milk options. I find myself ordering takeout or venturing to the restaurant at least twice a week. For the pescetarian I would recommend the tuna salad on a sandwich or on a salad. It is very fresh and has a bit of a sweet taste. My favorite item on the menu is the kale salad. I have tried to recreate this salad many times but it is never as good as Urth’s. My only negative thought about Urth would come from the busy lunch and weekend hours as it is hard to find a seat and the food takes longer then normal to come out. I would say, however, if your food is taking a long time to come out, simply ask the staff to check on your order and they will make sure to get your food out quickly. The employees are always very friendly and are constantly busy trying to make the customer happy. Honestly, I would recommend every item on the menu, you really cannot go wrong!
