Nobu Malibu

My experience at Nobu has never failed to impress me. I have been to Nobu’s restaurant in four states and even Bahamas. The food is consistently amazing no matter the location, however, the vibes are always unique and the menus offer specials in their respective locations.

Nobu Malibu is situated right off of PCH and offers a spectacular view. While Nobu tends to be on the fancier side, this location is more casual. Customers walked in in shorts as if they just came from the beach. The food was spectacular as always. We started with our favorites, shishito peppers and yellowtail jalapeño sashimi. Every single item was fresh and prepared with finesse. Nobu is perfect for sharing so that you can taste as many foods as possible. We also indulged in the spicy tuna and crispy rice, various ceviche tacos, sushi rolls, and my new favorite artichoke salad. This was my first time trying the artichoke salad and it was so light and fresh and off course had a little bit of truffle oil it in. We ended our savory items with the miso cod. The miso cod is my all time favorite fish dish in the world. It is delicate and sweet and savory all in one bite. I can never have enough of that dish. To end our night we had the bento box and peach cobbler. I was disappointed that this location was not offering a special flavored shaved iced because that is one of my favorite desserts, however, I had a spectacular meal and could not have asked for a better view.
