In one of my former blog posts I talked about one of my favorite vegan restaurants Gracias Madre and their sister restaurant Café Gratitude. Cafe Gratitude is a vegan restaurant that serves healthy meals with local and seasonal ingredients. I have dined at this establishment many times knowing that there will always be something for me to enjoy. Some of my favorite items on the menu are the “I am Mucho,” a Mexican bowl. I also indulge in one of the greatest and sweetest drinks, a vegan mint chocolate chip shake. There are two locations, one on Larchmont in the Hollywood area, as well as a location in Venice. I like to go to the Venice location because the vibe of the area is completely unique and fitting. Cafe Gratitude also has an array of desserts, my favorite being the bite sized chocolates. I always have a sweet tooth after eating dinner and don’t necessarily want to stuff my stomach until i’m sick and so this little chocolate is the perfect ending to my meal. This little ball is called the “I am Joy” and tastes like an intense Almond Joy. I was elated when I recently went into Juice Served Here and while I was picking out a juice I saw that this shop had Cafe Gratitude desserts and so I enjoyed a delicious coconut and dark chocolate snack!
