The last three months have been spent eating some of the best food in the world. I have had the most amazing meals from Hong Kong to Tasmania, Australia. The food in Australia has similar qualities to California cuisine, however, with proximity to Asia, has much more to offer. I have been posting my daily meals on my Instagram @Losangelesfoodz, but cannot wait to post photos of the best food I have ever eaten.
Australia has quite the brunch culture. Each of the cafés visited follow a similar menu but tend to have a unique twist. My favorite dishes continue to be avocado toast as well as anything with a poached egg. My go-to dish is a breaki salad, typically a mix of grains, kale, vegetables, and of course a perfectly poached egg. I can’t help but order this dish every morning as it seems like the best way to start my day. As stated before the avocado toast or smash as it is referred to here is quite delicious as well. The avo is seasoned to perfection atop crunchy sourdough bread, usually made in house, and topped with creamy Yarra Valley feta, and some type of citrus. I could go on and on about the unreal dishes offered at these various restaurants, but I will just begin to post my plethora of images…
