Located in Venice, away from Abbot Kinney and the insane Bird riders, is Wallflower – an Indonesian restaurant with upscale street food. I loved being able to share a plethora of dishes with my party, and the spices that paired with each plate.
My favorite dishes were the crunchy corn fritters, the whole fried Branzino, Tahu Gejrot aka spicy fried tofu, and the wide rice noodles with a crispy poached egg. The rest of my group raved about the melt-in-your-mouth spiced braised beef and the wok tossed beef pad Thai noodles.
